Assessment

This guide is for KCC Librarians working on assessment of library instruction.

Assessment Workflow for Fall 2024

  • Librarians distribute assessment forms in ENG 12/24 classes as an in-class activity. (Librarians are welcome to use the form in other classes working on research projects - SD 10, EDC, science courses, etc.)

  • Librarians can use the paper version of the assessment form or give students the link to the Qualtrics survey (available on homepage of this LibGuide).

  •  Librarians should note how many total students are in their class.

  •  Completed forms should be given to Carrie.

    •  Librarians can scan and email forms or make photocopies.

    • If you use the Qualtrics form, please let Carrie know.

  • Carrie will assess forms using the rubric.  Beginning Fall 2024, Carrie will work on a workflow for returning forms to students with basic feedback.
