The Kingsborough Historical Society was housed in the library for many years. The Kingsborough Historical Society focused on the history of the Sheepshead Bay, Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach and Coney Island communities. The majority of Kingsborough Historical Society archival materials are now housed at the Brooklyn College Library Archives; the papers in the KCC Archives relate to the day-to-day operations of the Kingsborough Historical Society. |
