Your library has a huge catalog of streaming video to support you and your teaching! We have access to three major platforms with substantial collections:
- Kanopy
- Please feel free to sign up for an account at https://library.kbcc.cuny.edu/kanopy.
- Once you've signed up, you should be able to view the catalog of films and place requests.
- Requested films must be needed for a class.
- Requests must come from a faculty member.
- You must use your Kingsborough email when you sign up, or you will not get access.
- It is recommended to NOT use the Kanopy app or mobile site, but rather use a desktop browser instead. The app and mobile site do not work well with the subscription we have.
- Academic Video Online (AVON)
- This collection is fully available to all Kingsborough faculty, students and staff. No need to create an account or make a special request! Streaming content is immediately available.
- You can sign in to AVON with your CUNY ID at this link: https://library.kbcc.cuny.edu/avon.
- Swank
- You can sign up for an account at https://library.kbcc.cuny.edu/swank.
- Once you've signed up, you should be able to view the catalog of films and place requests.
