Welcome to the Kingsborough library guide to researching equity at the community college level. This guide was created for the KBCC Achieving The Dream project, part of a nationwide initiative dedicated to helping community college students succeed.
The Kingsborough librarians were asked to acquire and organize resources on Achieving the Dream for the Kingsborough community, and this guide will highlight some of the hundreds of new resources we have added to our collection on this topic.This guide focuses mainly on books in our collection, though we have also compiled article bibliographies on a few of these subjects. Of course, you can find even more articles in our library databases. Our recommended databases for various aspects of education are listed here.
