It can be helpful to start your research by browsing the relevant section of the reference collection. Reference books often have great general introductions to a topic or field.
You can find information on physical education topics by looking at reference books in that area. Thankfully, the reference collection is organized by subject, so finding the right book should be easy! The entire "GV" section in the reference collection is devoted to sport.
