Study Hall with Librarians

Welcome to our first Virtual Study Hall for Kingsborough Community College. We hope to bring a common space for students to work together and interact with one another during these hard remote times.

Every Tuesday 1-3 PM on Zoom!

 

Step One: Please use this link to join the study hall! 

Step Two: Please review the code of conduct for these Study Hall sessions.

Step Three: Come back again if you want to study with your fellow classmates!

Code of conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT 

  • This space is designed for Quiet Study with the option of a librarian to assist you.
    • This is a safer space, please be mindful and respectful to your fellow students and librarian 
    • If you want individual consultation with a librarian, it can be arranged for you. 
  • Please bring work to do during this study hall. 
  • Video-on is encouraged but not required. 
  • Please remain on mute when you are working, unless you have a question 
    • Chat is encouraged, the librarian will be monitoring throughout the whole study hall. 
  • These Study halls are every Tuesday at 1-3 PM via Zoom, Click here to join
  • If these times do not work, we are open to any suggestions or scheduling other time slots 
  • These sessions will NOT be recorded.
  • Any attempts at Cyber Bullying, the individual will be removed and study hall privileges will be revoked.
    • Cyber Bullying and/or Harassment
      • a. Sending or posting discriminatory, harassing, or threatening messages or images.
      • b. Sending or posting messages that defame or slander other individuals.
      • c. Engaging in harassment based on a student’s membership in a protected class (race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability).
