Using Newspaper Articles in your Research

Newspapers can be a great resource to utilize in your research papers. Here are a resources you can use to find newspaper articles.

New York Times Academic Pass - As a Kingsborough student, you have free access to a digital subscription to NYT! Click on the link to create your free account - use your email address. The pass can be used on smartphones and tablet apps. The subscription lasts for one year. Then, you can use the link to renew your subscription.

ProQuest - You can use the ProQuest search engine to search for articles in many major daily U.S. newspapers including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Chicago Tribune. You have the option to click on the "Full-text" filter to limit to full-text articles only. You can also narrow your results by publication dates.
