Definition

Known also by various other names such as discussion group, discussion forum, message board, online forum or just forum. Intended as a supplement to the weekly coursework, the discussion forum is intended to replace the in-class discussion or seminar. In the virtual classroom, students respond to a prompt and to each other.

• identify the responsibility that comes with entering the conversation through participatory channels;
